NewLetter is in the mail. Thanks to all the folks that put it together, especilly Ira! :clap We could save a lot of money if folks got it on line instead of through the mail. Not everyone can do that but a lot of us can and it would save us a bundle in printing and posting. In the past it has been available on the forum for all. We could also use e-mail addresses and get it out that way. A bunch of you are more savy on the workings and gimmicks of this than I, so add your 2 cents to the discussion.

The cost is almost more than it is worth. Some of the membership will need it mailed but a lot could get it o line and print out anything or the whole thing if they needed info. We just need to educate the membership and make them aware of their options. Ed has had it in the forum and it is effecient and easy to access.

I understand that the membership commitee is planning on having everyone fill out an application with their renewal. On this app. they can have a question asking whether members want to recieve their newsletter via email or snail mail. This can be entered into the membership database. The data base can then be searched for only those wanting snailmail and only those addresses printed out for labels.

I prefer reading mine from the web site and usually read it before I ever get the one in the mail.

I would like to get the newsletter by E-mail or the Forum. I saves paper and the cost of a stamp. For those who don't have a computer, Blackberry, or internet, let them eat cake!!

Saving paper and a stamp would help fight global warming!! Let's do it.

Sign me up for also getting the newsletter by email. Just one less thing to drag down to recycling at the end of the month.
